Bring some primitive style to your dinner table or book shelf with this simple burlap mini tree. It’s such a subtle holiday decoration that you can keep it around from fall through spring!

Things you’ll need:
Small styrofoam cone
Fringed burlap ribbon
Rusty tin star button
Wood buttons
Scissors
Sequin pins
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Things to do:
1. Cut 20-25 pieces of burlap to 4″ long each. Next, cut each in half lengthwise.
2. Fold each piece into a loop as shown. Begin pinning the burlap loops along the bottom.
3. Continue pinning the loops in another row, above the previous row.
4. Finish pinning to the top. Warm up your hot glue gun.
5. Glue the star to the top and the wood buttons onto the loops.
