How to Make a Pom Pom Wreath

This festive pom pom wreath is perfect for adorning a child’s room, or for hanging in a room for birthday parties and other celebrations. You can also choose colors for the pom pom wreath that will show your school or team support!

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time required: 45 minutes
Age range: 10+ (younger children may need help with hot glue gun for safety)

Things you’ll need:
Styrofoam wreath
Assorted craft pom poms
Rattail cord
Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Warm up your hot glue gun. Decide how long you want your wreath to hang from its hook and cut the rattail cord accordingly. Wrap it around the wreath and double-knot it on one end.

2. Double knot it at the top too, so the cord doesn’t untie.

3. Hot glue the pom poms to the wreath.

4. Continue adding pom poms until the front is finished. You won’t need to add them to the back, but you might need to fill them in around the sides, depending on where the wreath is being hung.
