How to Make a Fairy Garden Planter

This is the perfect activity for a ladies tea or just an afternoon at home with your little ones. Collect a plethora of supplies and have fun creating a magical, mini fairy garden.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 15 Minutes
Age range: 8 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Unfinished wood pot
Hot glue gun
Hot glue sticks
Fairy door
Miniature garden tools
Moss
Succulents

Things to do:
1. Trim a piece of sheet moss and pull it apart with your fingers, creating a loose, natural shape.

2. Use hot glue to attach the moss to your planter. Make sure it wraps around at least three sides to give your planter dimension.

3. When all of your moss is in place, it’s time to start adding embellishments! For my planter, I found a miniature door that is the same height as my planter. I used hot glue to attach it in place. To finish my planter, I used hot glue to add miniature tools by the front door and around the sides of my pot.

4. When you’ve finished decorating your pot, plant a succulent inside and display your work of art.
