Heart-Shaped Caterpillar Valentines

It’s almost that time of year! Valentine’s Day! And of course, even your littlest ones like to participate in the love themed celebrations. This little heart shaped caterpillar is the perfect project for younger children to add to cards, banners or pictures for their loved ones!

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 15 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Heart punch in two sizes or heart punch and scissors.
Pink and red cardstock
Crayons, pens or colored pencils
Glue stick

Things to do:
1. Punch out hearts from the two colors of paper in equal amounts. Using a larger punch or scissors, cut out one more heart that is a little bigger than the rest.

2. Using the glue stick to stick the hearts to the paper, stick them on in a row, alternating colors. Finish with the largest heart, placing it just a little higher than the rest.

3. Once the glue is dry, draw on legs, a face and antenna.
