Heart Punch Four Leaf Clover

A simple but perfect adornment for any “lucky” card or decoration, this clover uses a heart punch to create the petals of the clover and layering to give a 3-d effect.

Things you’ll need:
Green paper
Heart punch
Bone folder
Scissors
Glue dots

Things to do:
1. Cut a square of paper at least four times the size of the heart shape in the punch. Fold in half and then in half again to create a smaller four layer square. Slip it into the punch, trimming the unfolded edges as needed so that the folded corner is inside the heart where it won’t cut through. Punch out the shape.

2. Fold each heart within the clover shape in half and glue down.

3. Cut out four more hearts, this time individually. Fold down the center of each heart and then glue down along the fold to the center of each heart on the clover. Add a stem and a message before giving!

  1. Hi, That is a great idea but Clover is not associated with St Patricks day. It is Shamrock and it has 3 leaves that we celebrate with. I still love the idea and will try it out -) Kay
