Faux Paint Dipped Mason Jars

Paint dipped everything is all the rage. Silverware, chair legs, vases and, of course, jars, are all fair game. But I’m a little hesitant to paint dip my jars, I use them for so many things, I don’t always want them to be painted permanently one way or another. This trick gives you that paint dipped look without the commitment, and as a bonus, names can be written on the temporary surface so the jars can be used as party glasses. At the end of the night just peel off the balloons and you’ve got your jars back.

Difficulty level: easy
Time required: less than 5 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Balloons
Jars
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Cut the balloons cleanly at the point where the necks begin to widen.

2. Stretch the balloon over the bottom of the jars, smoothing out any wrinkles as needed and adjusting the top edge to look like a paint line.
