Fairy Gardens in a Jar

While I love fairy gardens of all shapes, sizes and types, there’s a special place in my heart for things that are very, very small. So these little fairy gardens in a jar are perfect, both for my love of small things and for the fact that space can be a little tight around here. Look for jars with a fat base and sorter sides to get the biggest bang for your buck!

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 10 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Jars
Moss sheet
Scissors
Mushrooms, plants or other bits to fill the little garden
Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Thing to do:
1. Using your scissors, cut a section of the moss sheet to be just slightly bigger than the inside bottom of the jar.

2. Fit the moss into the jar, trimming as needed. You want the moss to fit snugly into the jar.
3. With small dots of hot glue, add little plants, stepping stones and other decorations to the moss, completing the jars.
