Easy-to-Do Gold Polka Dot Holiday Trees

Gold is the color of the season (well, on top of red and green, of course!) so gold trees for your holiday display? Yes please! These fun little polka dot trees add just the right about of glitz and glam without taking things too seriously. Change the size of the polka dots by using different pencil tips or erasers.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 15 minutes plus dry time

Things you’ll need:
Large, medium, and small fiber cones
Gold spray paint
White acrylic paint
Pencils with flat erasers, toothpicks and/or skewers

Things to do:
1. In a well-ventilated area, cover your work surface and spray your cones with two coats of gold paint, allowing each to dry before adding the next.

2. Once the cones are dry, dab the ends of your pencil erasers, skewers or toothpicks into the white paint and then onto the cones to create polka dots.

3. Allow the paint to dry before displaying.
