DIY Wood Slice Tick Tac Toe

With winter days, it’s time to start thinking of things to keep the kiddos busy when the weather is too cold to venture out. Tick tac toe is one of those perennial favorites that never seems to get old. Perfect for quick games or long marathons, this Wood Slice version of the game makes a lovely gift or leave out all the time game set.

Difficulty level: Moderate
Time required: 30 minutes

Things you’ll need:
1- Large wood slice
9 – Small wood slices
Wood burning tool

Things to do:
1. Plug in the wood burner with the chisel tip attached.

2. On the large wood slice, burn lines to create the grid of a tic-tac-toe board.

3. On the smaller wood slices, burn a large X on one side of each disk. This makes each disk playable for either team, the X side for the crosses and the blank side for the O’s.
