Winter, in our house, means lots of steaming hot drinks. Tea, coffee, cocoa, something always being sipped during the cold months which means there’s a lot of need for coasters! These wood slice coasters take their decoration from your favorite holiday cookie cutters, making them an excellent choice for some holiday gifts as well!

Time required: 20 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Cookie cutters
Wood slices
Wood burning tool
Pencil

Things to do:
1. Center the cookie cutter onto the wood slice and trace around the inside.

2. Plug the chisel or fine point tip into the wood burner and plug it in.
3. Trace along the lines to burn the shape into the wood slice.

4. Add embellishments, dots, edging and texture, with the wood burner to finish.
