DIY Tart Pan Tealights

These little tart pan tea lights are so sweet, it’s hard to contain myself to making just a few. Perfect for lighting up a rustic table setting or for adding ambiance to country decor, these simple little candles would also be at home with modern or industrial chic styles.

Time required: 15 minutes plus time for hardening
Difficulty level: Moderate

Things you’ll need:
Wax
Wicks
Tart pans
Double boiler

Things to do:
1. Place your wicks in the center of your tart pans. If the bottom is not flat, drip a little wax onto the bottom of the pan and use it to secure the wick.

2. Melt your wax in your double boiler. You can use white wax, bees wax, or recycled wax for this project. You can also add color or scent at this point to make custom candles.
3. Pour wax into the tart pans, filling about 3/4 of the way up.

4. Allow the wax to harden before lighting.
