DIY Summertime Watermelon Tea Towel

Watermelons are the quintessential summer fruit, and you can decorate a tea towel with a no-sew watermelon in no time at all! Bring a little of that summer sunshine indoors and liven up your kitchen or dining area.

Things you’ll need:
Tea towel
Assorted felt sheets
Bit of ribbon
Scissors
Fabric glue

Things to do:
1. Cut out two watermelon shapes from the felt, one in green and one red. The green one should be a little larger than the red felt shape.

2. Cut a few “seeds” from the black felt.

3. Glue the red felt to the green.

4. Glue the black seeds to the red felt as shown.

5. Cut a piece of ribbon and glue it to the tea towel, creating an embellishment near the bottom of the towel.
