DIY Sparkling Easter Eggs

These sparkling Easter eggs will have everyone wondering how you made them! This craft is so easy and creates a wonderful finished product, making it a great DIY to try with your kids.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 10 Minutes
Age range: 5 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Wax Paper
Cake Cooling Rack
Epsom Salts
Plastic Eggs
Mod Podge
Paint Brush

Things to do:
1. Cover a plastic egg with a layer of Mod Podge. Be sure to cover the entire surface.

2. Once you have a thick layer of Mod Podge, cover the egg with Epsom salts. I’ve found that the best way is to pour a pile of Epsom salts onto a piece of wax paper and roll the egg around in it.

3. Allow the egg to dry completely before displaying it. Place is on a cooling rack for a few hours to ensure it’s totally dried. Make several sparkle eggs in different colors to create a beautiful and festive display.
