DIY Pony Bead Bubble Wands

I’m in the midst of planning a fairy party for a certain little girl I know, and at the top of her “must do at the party!” list is bubbles! It’s hard to resist the though, who doesn’t love bubbles. So our little visiting fairies will be making bubbles for sure, but first they’ll be making these simple bubble wands. Perfect for a quick afternoon project, they are infinitely customizable and so fun you’ll end up with more than you need. Which means you’ll have plenty of bubbles. And who doesn’t want that?

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: less than ten minutes

Things you’ll need:
Pipe cleaners
Pony Beads

Things to do:
1. Set out your pony beads, I like to put a little of each color in each hollow of a muffin tin instead of setting out the whole box. It makes for an easier cleanup if (when) they get spilled.

2. Wrap the center of a pipe cleaner around three fingers to help it form a circular shape. Bring the ends down and twist into a wand with an “o” at the top.

3. Thread beads onto the wand until it is almost full. Wrap the ends back up around the last bead and tuck the tips in under the bead.
