Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 30 Minutes
Age Range: 12 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Wire Wreath Form
Poly Mesh
Dried raffia ribbon
Artificial Flowers
Artificial Grasses, Berries, Beads
Pipe Cleaners
2″ Natural Ribbon
Styrofoam Easter Eggs

Things to do:
1. The first step is attaching pipe cleaners to the wire wreath form. This step is so important for the rest of the craft, because it will hold the mesh and ribbon and decor in place. Place a piece of pipe cleaner on the inside ring of the wire form and twist it in place. Twist the pipe cleaner tightly, so they will hold the ribbon firmly. Repeat this step until the form is covered with pipe cleaners.

2. Start to apply the mesh to your wreath form by using the pipe cleaners to secure the mesh in place. Start at the outside of the wreath form and work your way around. I’ve found that the wreath looks best if you attach the mesh loosely, so you can bunch it up.

3. Once you’ve completed the outside ring of the wreath, move towards the inside of the form and complete the wreath. Allow 3-4 inches of excess material and cut the mesh.

4. Tuck the excess material into the starting pipe cleaner and secure it.
5. The next step is decorating the wreath with ribbon. Use the pipe cleaners to secure the 2″ natural ribbon to the wreath. Weave the ribbon from the outside to the inside of the wreath and loosely secure it.

6. Create a bow out of the natural ribbon and secure it to the top of the wreath using the pipe cleaners. If you don’t know how to make a bow out of ribbon, you can check out our other “bow” tutorial!
7. Weave the raffia grass around the wreath as decoration.

8. Cut the stems on the fake flowers and attach them to the wreath. Use the pipe cleaners to secure the flowers by their stems. I’ve chosen to use three bunches of flowers. This step is crucial to the wreath, because it fills it in nicely.

9. The final step is decorating with the beaded grass and Styrofoam eggs. Simply stab the bottom of the egg with a new pipe cleaner and wrap it around the wreath. The eggs are a great way to hide any excess pipe cleaners.
