DIY Mason Jar Lid Wreath

There are lots of projects you can do with mason jars and lids, but often the insert of the lid is left behind! Use up those spare lids with this easy-to-make mason jar lid wreath.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 2 hours (includes dry time)
Age range: 10+

Things you’ll need:
Inserts for canning jar lids
Green acrylic paint
Paint brush
Red ribbon
Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks or Gorilla Glue

Things to do:
1. Paint all of the lids inserts. You can use any number of lids – depending on how large you want the wreath to be and how many lids you have.

2. Allow to dry.

3. Paint a second coat and allow to dry.

4. Arrange the lid inserts the way you want, and then glue the first few together with hot glue or the Gorilla glue. The Gorilla glue will create a more permanent hold.

5. Glue all of the lid inserts to form your wreath circle.

6. Tie a bow with the ribbon and glue to the top or bottom of your wreath.
