This magnolia wreath complements so many styles of home decor. Make several in different sizes to add to your gallery wall, or make a large one for your front door. The technique is super simple, and the finished result is absolutely stunning!
Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 30 minutes
Age range: 12 and up
Things you’ll need:
Styrofoam wreath form
Magnolia leaves
Hot glue gun
Hot glue sticks
Things to do:
1. The first step is pulling the leaves off of your artificial magnolia branch. They should pop right off, but if they don’t, you can use scissors.
2. Next, use hot glue to attach them to the wreath form. Run a thick line down the center of the leaf and hold it on the Styrofoam form until it has dried completely. Play with different shades of green and brown to create a realistic look. Be sure to cover the front and all sides of the wreath form.
3. Finish the wreath by using hot glue to secure any edges that are poking out in weird ways. Be sure the underside of the leaves are hidden.
4. Display the wreath on your front door using a wreath hanger.
