The best part about this project is that it is so easy to make! You’ll have fun spray painting fancy designs onto all your boring paper pads, creating something truly unique and lovely.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 10 Minutes
Age range: 10 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Plain notebook (a black notebook works best, because it showcases the design)
Lace doily fabric
White spray paint
Painter’s tape

Things to do:
1. Tape along the edge of the first page of paper in your notebook, creating a protective frame.

2. Use the lace fabric to cover the entire front of your notebook. Wrap up the cover like a present, pulling the fabric tightly. Use painter’s tape to secure the fabric.

3. Run a piece of painter’s tape along the spiral binding on the cover of the notebook.

4. Go outside or to a well-ventilated area to spray paint your notebook. Spray a light layer of paint, and leave the notebook to dry.
