DIY Lace Applique Necklace

Delicate and elegant, this lace applique necklace is so simple to make, you won’t believe your eyes! And neither will anyone who receives this beauty as a gift! The chain can be a new one or you can reuse a broken chain necklace with added split rings to attach the lace!

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 20 minutes plus dry time

Things you’ll need:
Lace applique
Fabric Stiffener
Necklace chain
Split rings or o rings
Small needle nose pliers
Container

Things to do:
1. Pour a small amount of Fabric Stiffener into the container and push the applique into the mixture, make sure the fabric is well soaked then remove and allow the excess to drip off.

2. Lay the damp applique on a flat surface and allow it to dry completely. If needed, iron flat.

3. Decide how far down you want the lace to hang and measure how much chain you will need. Also note where you’ll need the chain to connect to the lace.

4. Open the split or O ring and attach one to each end of the chain and then to the lace. Try it on and adjust as needed for a nice drape and balanced look.
