Create a beautiful, upcycled globe without the use of stencils. These can add a beautiful flair to home decor, or serve as a unique alternative to a guest book at weddings and celebrations.

Things you’ll need:
A Globe
Paint
Paint brush
Paint pen, paper cutouts, Mod Podge *optional

Things to do:
1. Prepare your globe. Removing the glossy top layer is optional, but creates a matte finish if removed. If you choose to leave the glossy layer, make sure it is clean and dust free.

2. Paint your globe and allow it to fully dry.

3. Decorate your globe. Using a stencil is optional, and using a paint pen to do freehand lettering on your globe, creates a unique and personalized piece. Cutting out art from scrapbook paper, vintage books, etc. also adds an extra touch and eliminates the need to freehand complicated images.
