DIY Colorful Pom Pom Coasters Tutorial


Looking for a cute way to protect the wood surfaces in your child’s playroom? These Dr. Suess inspired coasters are playful and perfect! The best part? It only takes a few minutes to transform cork into something whimsical and beautiful.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 5 Minutes
Age range: 12 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Cork coasters
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Pom poms

Things to do:
1. Apply a drop of hot glue to a pompom and place it out the outer edge of the coaster.


2. Fill in the outer rim until the edge is completely covered.

3. Move in and start creating another ring, being careful to vary the colors of the pompoms.
4. Repeat these steps until the coaster is completely covered.
