DIY Chalkboard Clip Magnets

We’re big users of magnetic spaces for family messaging in our house. The fridge, in particular, is where we keep all sorts of important information, schedules and, of course, artwork! These little magnetized chalkboard clips make it easy to keep the grocery list separate from the class schedules, separate to that great drawing that came home from school.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 15 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Chalkboard disk with clothespins
Magnets
Superglue
Chalkboard pen

Things to do:
1. Flip the clips over so that the clothespin side is facing up.
2. Add a drop of superglue to the clothespin, close to the top.

3. Press a magnet onto the glue and allow it to dry thoroughly.
4. Once the glue is dry, use the chalkboard pen to write what you’ll clip onto the chalkboard side of the magnet.
