DIY Camp Stationary

It’s almost Summer and all across the country kids are gearing up to head off to camp, grandparents and long stays with friends. While cool stationary won’t guarantee that they will write to you, it can’t hurt and you might actually find one of these brightly colored envelopes in your mailbox sometime this Summer. Just remember to pre-address and stamp at least a couple of them to up the chances of getting a letter home!

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 10 minutes

Things you’ll need:
Envelopes and appropriately sized paper
Washi tape
Scissors
Stamps and inkpad
Pen
Postage stamps

Things to do:
1. Stamp the top center or top left of each sheet of paper with a fun stamp.

2. While the ink dries, smooth a piece of washi tape across the bottom edge of the paper. To make the neatest edges, go over the edge with your tape and then use your scissors to trim right up to the edge of the paper.

3. Run matching pieces of tape at 45 degree angles across the front left side of each envelope, leaving room for the address and return address.

4. Add a stamp and, if desired, an address and the kids are set for all sorts of fun letter writing!
