Homemade stamps are fun to make and great for creating just the shapes you need. This craft uses burlap to add texture to those homemade stamps to add a rustic touch to your stamping projects. Be sure to coat your stamp well with the Mod Podge to help make a cleanable surface that doesn’t absorb the ink.
Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: 10 minutes plus dry time
Things to do:
1. Apply a coat of Mod Podge to the craft foam and smooth a piece of burlap over it. Allow the glue to dry.
2. Apply two coats of Mod podge over the burlap, allowing each to dry before adding the next.
3. Once this is dry, use your scissors or a craft knife to cut out your shapes.
4. Glue your stamp to the top of the lid or the block of wood. Allow the glue to dry before stamping.
