Turn recycled jars into pretty storage containers simply by adding a few layers of decorative washi tape to the lids.
Things you’ll need:
Jars with screw on lids
Washi tape
Craft Knife and cutting mat
Things to do:
1. Clean the lids well with hot soapy water to remove any residual oils from handling, this will help the tape stick well.
2. Criss-cross the tape over the lid. If the lid has a lip around the bottom edge, you’ll need to cover just the top, trimming away the excess and then the edges, again, trimming away the excess. If the edge of the lid is smooth, wrap the edges of the tape under and trim away.
3. Smooth down well before using.
