Coin Magnets

Over the years my husband and I have traveled to many far-flung locations, both together and separately, and we always come back with coins in our pockets from these countries, a small but fun souvenir. The problem is that we never seem to do anything with those coins. They sit, piled up in junk drawers and jewelry boxes, occasionally getting a glance when we are rifling around looking for something. This craft turns those coins into an out an about, useful display in the form of magnets.

Things you’ll need:
Coins
Sticky Ass glue
Craft Magnets

Things to do:
1. Spread the coins out on a covered work surface. You don’t want them too close together or the magnets will pull off the coins and toward each other while you are waiting for the glue to dry.

2. Squeeze a generous dollop of glue on to the center of one side of each coin.
3. Drop a magnet onto the glue and press down firmly; making sure the magnet is centered on the coin.

4. Allow the glue to dry overnight before using the magnet.
