This representational manger is made using cinnamon sticks, giving it a lovely aroma. The cinnamon stick manger ornament delicately shows the reason for the season, and is quick to make.

Things you’ll need:
Cinnamon sticks
Tin star
Baker’s twine
Raffia ribbon
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks

Things to do:
1. Break one of the sticks in half; they will be used for the sides of the manger. Warm up your hot glue gun.

2. Glue the short sticks to the edge of one long cinnamon stick.

3. Glue two long sticks to the top, crossing them and also allowing them to overhang over the short side pieces.

4. Cut some of the raffia and tie it around the middle with another piece of raffia.

5. Glue the raffia to the bottom stick.

6. Tie the baker’s twine around the top.

7. Glue the star to the top of the manger. Hang with pride!
