Chalkboard Paint Quote

Perfect for a party, a wedding reception or just some good old fashion fun, these chalkboard quotes can add a little silliness to any photo. Look for larger pieces of basswood to create your quote boards; it is easily cut while still rigid enough to hold up to many uses.
Things you’ll need:
Basswood sheets
Sturdy craft knife
Chalkboard paint
Sand paper
Foam brush
Things to do:
1. Using the knife, cut a air bubble quote shape out of the wood. You’ll want to go over the cut several times to make a crisp, clean cut.
2. Sand the edges of the board to avoid any rough spots or splinters.
3. Coat the quote boards with three thick layers of paint, allowing each to dry before moving on to the next.
4. Allow the paint to cure for several hours before using.
