DIY Mini Holiday Wreath Gift Tags

Mini wreath gift tags take just a bit of time but will make your packages so much more special! Pair these with plain wrapping paper so they “pop” for the recipient.

Difficulty level: Easy
Time to complete: 15 minutes
Age range: 8+

Things you’ll need:
Pine rope garland
Ribbon
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Red card stock
Black marker
Wire cutters

Things to do:
1. Find a round object that you can use to create a round shape for your wreath. I used my ribbon spool.

2. Use wire cutters to cut the garland, making sure to cut a few inches of excess for wrapping and closing the loop. Create the loop and secure with a few wraps. Warm up your hot glue gun.

3. Cut the ribbon and apply as shown. Glue the top of the ribbon.

4. Cute a banner shape out of the card stock as shown. Make sure it exceeds the diameter of the wreath.

5. Write the name of the recipient on the banner, and glue into the place on the wreath.

Simple Snowman Clothespin Ornament Tutorial

Keep this cheerful snowman after the holidays – he’ll bring winter cheer to any decor. Experiment with different expressions or different colors for the scarf. These snowman clothespins make the perfect gifts for neighbors and teachers!

Things you’ll need:
Wood clothespins
White acrylic paint
Black acrylic paint
Orange acrylic paint
Small paint brush
Tiny acrylic top hat
Mini check dish towel
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Twine

Things to do:
1. Paint the clothespin and allow to dry.

2. Paint eyes with a small paintbrush and black paint.

3. Add some buttons for the snowman.

4. Paint the nose with the orange paint.

5. Cut the towel in a half-inch strip, the width of the towel. Warm up your hot glue gun.
