DIY Colorful Pom Pom Coasters Tutorial


Looking for a cute way to protect the wood surfaces in your child’s playroom? These Dr. Suess inspired coasters are playful and perfect! The best part? It only takes a few minutes to transform cork into something whimsical and beautiful.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 5 Minutes
Age range: 12 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Cork coasters
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Pom poms

Things to do:
1. Apply a drop of hot glue to a pompom and place it out the outer edge of the coaster.


2. Fill in the outer rim until the edge is completely covered.

3. Move in and start creating another ring, being careful to vary the colors of the pompoms.
4. Repeat these steps until the coaster is completely covered.

DIY Anthropologie Inspired Glitter Animals Decor


This Anthropologie inspired DIY will add the perfect pop of glitter to your home. Glitz out animals in multiple sizes for the perfect piece of accent decor.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 15 Minutes
Age range: 12 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Plastic animals (momma and baby deer)
Spray adhesive
Fine glitter

Things to do:
1. Lay out a piece of wax paper to protect your surface then spray a thin layer of spray adhesive on one side of your plastic animal.


2. Move the animal away from the glue and pour glitter over the animal.

3. Fold your wax paper in half and pour the excess glitter back into your container to use on the other side of the animal.
4. Flip the animal to the other side and spay another layer of glue. Be sure to get all the sides covered.

5. Pour glitter on the second half of the animal.

6. Let the glue dry for 15 minutes and then display your creation!
