Painted Rock Photo Holder Tutorial


Printing photographs is a great way to preserve memories and this painted rock photo holder is a great way to display them! Grab your paint and let’s get creative!

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 20 minutes
Age range: 8 and up

Things you need:
Paint
Rocks
Craft Wire
Pencil

Things to do:
1. Paint your rock for the base of your photo holder. I painted mine with perfect polka dots by dipping an eraser in paint and stamping it over the surface of my rock.



2. When the paint dries, wrap copper wire around the rock several times and pull the end straight up, about 2-3 inches tall and trim it.


3. Wrap the end of the wire around your pencil to create a few nice circles.

4. Slide your photograph in the wire circles and display it proudly!

How to Make a Seashell Planter


Looking for a way to display your summer memories? This seashell planter makes a great keepsake from a seaside holiday and can be on display all year long.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 15 minutes
Age range: 12 and up

Things you’ll need:
Flower pot
Faux succulents
Moss
Seashells
Hot glue gun/glue sticks

Things to do:
1. Use hot glue to attach seashells to the front of your paper mache pot. Cover the entire surface, so minimal paper mache shows through.


2. Fill the pot with moss.

3. Arrange several succulents in the moss. For additional stability, use a drop of hot glue to secure them in place.
