Candy Pencil Valentine Tutorial

Things you’ll need:
Paper cutter with scoring blade
Pinking shears
Pink and golden yellow paper
Candy (Rolos and Silver Hersey’s kisses)
Hole punch
Scissors
Tacky glue
Double sided tape
Ribbon
Aluminum foil
Felt heart

Things to do:
1. The first step is scoring the paper. Cut a 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch rectangle out of yellow paper and use your paper cutter to score lines on the shape ever 1/4 inch.

2. Use craft scissors and cut along the short edge of the shape.
3. Glue the paper onto a pack of Rolos.

4. Cut a 3 1/2 x 3/8th inch rectangle out of pink paper.
5. Attach the pink rectangle to the Rolo pack, creating the look of an eraser.

6. Apply a small strip of aluminum foil around the seam where the pink and yellow paper meet.

7. Trace and cutout a circle of pink paper that fits the top of the Rolo pack and secure it to the top with glue.

8. Use a piece of double-sided tape to secure the silver kiss to the top of the pencil.

9. Punch a hole through the felt heart and use ribbon to secure it to the pencil.
