Make Your Own Candy Medals

Summer isn’t summer without a wide array of games and competitions between friends, coworkers and family members. Whether it’s a company retreat, a family reunion or just a gathering at the park, the warm evenings of summer are perfect for a good old fashion competition! And what’s a competition without medals? This project creates sweet treat medals that anyone would be happy to win!

Difficulty level: Easy
Time required: less than five minutes

Things you’ll need:
Ribbon or other ribbon of your choice
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Wrapped Candies in roughly square shapes
Scissors

Things to do:
1. Cut the ribbon in to 3 foot sections, one for each award. You can coordinate the ribbon to the party theme or just play with what colors you have.

2. Flip the candy over so the back side is facing up.
3. Loop the ribbon around so that the two ends meet flatly and the loop is smooth and set to hang around someone’s neck.

4. Hot glue the cut ends to the back of the candy. Allow the glue to dry before passing out the prizes!
