Candy Kiss Mouse Valentines


This sweet treat is the perfect valentine for young kids. They’re sure to love the cute creature and the candy inside. Have fun making these with your younger kids and give them to their classmates on Valentines Day, or anytime they want to share something special with their friends.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 5 Minutes
Age range: 8 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Candy Kisses
Card Stock
Jute
Scissors
Hole punch
Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Things to do:
1. The first thing you’ll want to do is cut out the ear shapes. Draw two identical circles with small rectangles on the bottom half. Cut out the ears.

2. Use hot glue to attach the rectangle portion of the ears to the bottom of a candy kiss.

3. Next, you’re going to attach the rest of the body. Use a drop of hot glue to attach the kisses together.

4. Use scissors to cut off the paper labels.

5. Now, you’re going to make the eyes. Use a hole punch to create two identical circles of cardstock. Use hot glue to attach them to the face.


6. Cut a 2-inch piece of jute and use hot glue to attach it like a tail.
