Baker’s Twine Friendship Bracelet
Remember the fun of friendship bracelets when you were a kid? Update the look using colorful baker’s twine.
Things to do:
1. Cut three pieces of twine, each about 3 feet long. Fold them over and tie a knot near the middle. Slip the pencil or safety pin into the loops made by the knot.
2. Pinning the pin to a pillow or securing the pencil under a book, lay the six strands out in the pattern you want your stripes.
3. Starting at the far left sting, use it to tie a knot around each remaining string, ending with the first string in the final position. Repeat, starting each round with the new first string and working across, until you have built up the length you want in the bracelet.
4. Tie off the end and secure around the wrist.
