The key to a really great fairy garden, the kind of fairy garden that is sure to lure the very best of the backyard fairies, is the details. It’s all those little things that make fairy gardens truly magical and the more detail the better. These cute little toadstools are perfect for indoor or outdoor fairy gardens (make sure you seal them if they will be out in the elements!). If you don’t want red toadstools, you can also leave them natural or paint them whatever color suits your fancy!

Time required: 20 min plus dry time

Things you’ll need:
Acorn Caps
Tiny wood slices
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Red and white paint
Paintbrush

Things to do:
1. Paint the tops of the acorn caps red and allow them to dry.

2. Glue a small stack of 3 or 4 wood slices together to create the mushroom stem.

3. Once the caps are dry, glue the stems into the underside of the caps.

4. Using the end of the paintbrush, dab white dots of paint onto the cap. Allow the paint to dry before adding to your fairy garden.
