How to Make a Button Hair Comb


Adding buttons to a wide hair comb creates a striking hair accessory. If you or your little ones enjoys wearing combs, this is a great way to personalize them for any outfit. Plus, a button hair comb is a super-quick craft project!

Time required: 15 minutes
Age range: 10+ (younger kids will need help with hot glue gun)

Things you’ll need:
Clear acrylic hair combs
Buttons
Hot glue gun and hot glue

Things to do:
1. Warm up your hot glue gun. Glue one large button in the center.

2. Glue some large-to-medium sized buttons along each side of the first button, and all the way down the flat edge of the comb.

3. Glue small buttons on top of the large and medium ones, to create a layered effect. You can wear this on the top of your head like a headband, or on each side of your head, alongside a ponytail. However you wear this button hair comb, you’ll get tons of compliments!
