DIY Rustic Autumn Wreath

This rustic wreath is the perfect addition to your home this season. I love this project, because it is so easy and it makes a serious style statement. Choose your favorite dried flowers and have fun arranging them into a beautiful display on a grapevine wreath form.

Difficulty level: Beginner
Time to complete: 20 Minutes
Age range: 8 and Up

Things you’ll need:
Wreath form
Pussy willow branches or dried flowers
Pinecones
Floral wire
Wire cutters
Wreath hanger (optional)

Things to do:
1. Start by adding pussy willow branches to your wreath form. For this wreath, I’ve chosen to cover roughly 1/3 of the surface with pussy willow. If you choose a grapevine style, you can tuck the branches in and they will be secure. If you’re going to be displaying your wreath outdoors where it’s windy, you may want to add hot glue to ensure they stay in place.

2. The next step is adding pinecone details. I placed them at the base of the pussy willow branches, to hid the seam. Wrap a piece of floral wire around the center of the pinecone and stick the ends of the wire through the wreath form. Twist the ends of the wire together behind the wreath form to hold the pinecones in place.

3. Add any extra details, such as dried flowers or a burlap bow and enjoy displaying this lovely wreath in your home!
