Make Your Own Snow Paint Tutorial

Even if it doesn’t snow at your house in the winter, there’s something enthralling about that fluffy white stuff, isn’t there? This fun winter project will keep the kids busy for hours and supply you with endless wintery scenes (they make great holiday cards!) to decorate your house. For an extra wintery touch, add a few drops of peppermint oil scent to your paint! Smells great and fun!

Difficulty level: easy
Time required: 2 minutes to make, hours of fun after

Things you’ll need:
Shaving cream, the old fashioned, white, unscented kind
White school glue
Glitter
Paper
Paintbrushes
Jar
Skewer or spoon

Things to do:
1. In your jar, mix roughly equal parts shaving cream and glue, stirring well with your skewer. It should be thick but spreadable. If it’s too thick add a little more shaving cream.

2. Paint with the shaving cream mixture onto paper and sprinkle glitter on it while it’s still wet.

3. Allow the paint to dry, it will be fluffy and springy and retain it’s snowy appearance.
