Mason Jars. They're absolutely amazing. Aside from all of their storage abilities, they always give a very appealing presentation. And this Regular Mouth Gold Mason Jar Lamp Kit assists in adding a little more flair to those decorative Mason jars. This transforms any regular mouth jar into a lovely hanging light! A gold 8 3/4-foot cord, small collection of hardware supplies, rotary switch, and a pre-drilled 7-mm hole, shining brass finish lid are here to bring an ornamental jar to life!

Slip the provided mounting hardware onto the stripped end of the power cord in the following order: Knurled locknut, lid, threaded nipple, rubber washer, steel washer, and hexnut.

Pass the power cord through the hole of the mounting bracket of the socket. Tie a knot at the socket end of the power cord, leaving enough wire at the end to attach to terminals. Tuck the knot inside the bracket. Wrap one stripped end of wire around a terminal screw and tighten, securely. Repeat for remaining wire and terminal. Place the cardboard sleeve over the socket so that stubby post on the bracket passes through the sleeve's hole. Screw the nipple into the mounting bracket of the socket. Tighten the hexnut against the bracket. Pass the nipple up through lid's hole, and secure the socket assembly to the lid using the knurled locknut.

Attach the provided on/off rotary switch to power cord wherever you like! Add your light bulb, screw its lid onto your canning jar, then hang!

Be sure to read its attached instructions before use. These include labeled parts and diagrams. Always use caution with any electrical product. Use no more than a 7 1/2 watt candelabra base light bulb in smaller jars and 15 watts maximum in large jars.

Bulb and jar are not included. Fit regular mouth canning jars. Assembly required. UL listed. Indoor use, only.
