    About Leeza Gibbons: Gibbons's love for scrapbooking was inspired by her mother's public battle with Alzheimer's disease. In dealing with the pain and suffering brought on by Alzheimer's, Gibbons found that the illness drastically affects people's memories. That's when she decided to document everything with pictures, poems and handwritten notes. Her belief that "memories matter" was inspired initially by her mother but continues with her own family as she details their lives in her scrapbooks.
