A NEW way to scrapbook... and a NEW way to use photo pages... It's "Photo Page Scrapbooking", a fun & easy, creative solution to preserving your memories.

It's great for anyone who has lots of photos--new or old! Be honest, do you have bins, bags or boxes full of photos waiting to be organized and shared? Here is a budget and time friendly form of memory keeping, along with the guidance and encouragement you need to get started!

"Photo Page Scrapbooking" is perfect for anyone who is perhaps a little intimidated about designing full page layouts from scratch. Developing a layout is easy with photo pages as a base, since a portion of the layout is already predetermined. And keep in mind that there are all kinds of new photo page options these days: 8 1/2" x 11", 12" x 12", add-on Flip 'N Fold pockets, and a large variety of page layout styles. You'll also discover unique ways to take advantage of the little slots and pockets that can be found on many pages.

"Photo Page Scrapbooking" is based on the concept of creating journaling cards and crop cards to place among your photos. The book contains numerous examples of both types of cards as well as full page layouts. You'll also discover specific techniques to help you generate ideas for "scrapbooking" your own original photo pages... Basic Journaling, Creative Corners, Decorate the Sides, Just Frame it, Accentuate your Titles, Collages & Collections, Bolder Borders, and Shape It Up.

If you love to scrapbook, you can still take advantage of using photo pages. Just place them between scrapbook pages, especially when there are a lot of photos for a particular event. Your photo pages can be designed so they complement the look of the related scrapbook page.

Deanna Kirkham has authored several creative titles in a variety of areas. The idea for photo page scrapbooking came to her after preparing decorated, but otherwise blank, journaling cards to slip into empty photo pages that were included in a gift album for a friend. Three months later, after organizing 12 years of her own photos using the same basic principle, and sharing the concept with friends who loved the idea... this book was born. Co-author Shauna Pearson is an avid scrapbooker and friend of Deanna's who was inspired by the idea of photo page scrapbooking.
