I was not impressed with the rusted lid I was assuming it was a glaze made to appear rusted and not a truly rusted piece which leaves the rust on your hands

I had extra canning jar,so buying the lid and adding my own pump to make a canning jar hand soap dispenser,worked beautiful with my primitive decor,plus its very easy too.I have recieved many complaints from friends and family.

I wasnt sure of what size hole I needed to make a soap dispenser, so I had to open it a bit with metal clippers and bending the edges inward. It worked just fine. I used this is my kitchen with very old blue ball jars and love the rusty look. However it is rusted...I have to be sure that the lid is dry after use.

This fit my jar perfectly. I added a soap pump, glued it on the lid with clear caulk, and now I have the perfect rustic soap dispenser! Will definitely buy again.

These, along with the glass wick inserts, made perfect little oil lamps with my pint jars. Will be ordering more to make as gifts!
