What does Extruded Styrofoam Mean?
Tiny pieces of Styrofoam that are leftover cuttings from the creation of other Styrofoam shapes are heated and melted. This Styrofoam is then forced into a tubular round mold, cut into lengths and formed into a round shaped wreath. So, pieces of Styrofoam that once may have been disposed of are recycled into a useful wreath base. An extruded Styrofoam wreath is not porous like other Styrofoam but is denser and smoother.
