This sandy unity set is designed especially for the wedding ceremony with 3 smaller glass cylinders (one for the bride, one for the groom, and one for the ceremony officiant) and a larger heart shaped one, for the joining of all 3 sands.
How to perform the Unity Sand Ceremony:
The Unity Sand Ceremony is such a wonderful way to symbolize the blending of your two lives into one. The officiant begins by pouring in sand at the bottom. This represents the foundation of spirit and community on which your marriage rests. Then the bride and groom each pours in a color representing their individual life.
Finally all three colors are poured in together symbolizing that, like the grains of sand, these two lives are now blended and can never be returned to their original form again.
