This is a Project for Primitive Cinnamon Scented Candy Cane Ornaments
Products Needed:
1 pkg. Candy Cane Chenille Stems (#10728)
Candle Making Wax (#04090)
Liquid Gel Dye (optional) (#04000L)
Cinnamon Oil Scent (#04035) or scent of your choice
Antiquing Medium (#811)
Glamour Dust (#DAS37)
Glitter Spray (#4990532)
Greenery Embellishment (optional)
Homespun Embellishment (optional)
Directions:
1. Using a soft cloth or paper towel, antique the chenille stems and let dry.
2. Twist 3 stems together to make one candy cane. Bend the top to create the cane top.
3. Melt candle wax in a double boiler or whatever method used for candlemaking. Add dye and scent. Pour melted wax over chenille candy canes and let cool. Sprinkle with Glamour Dust and finish with the embellishments of your choice.
*Tip: Use a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil to spread out the candy canes and pour wax over them.
*Tip: If using Glamour Dust, sprinkle on while wax is still wet. If using spray, use when you are finished with the embellishments.
