Materials:
1 - 5” Styrofoam Egg (#EG500)
1 - 3” Styrofoam Wreath (#W35W)
1 - Hank (5 yds ea.) Yellow Loopy Chenille (#10024)
1 - Pair Wiggle Eyes 25mm (#7049)
1 - Yellow Feathers (#B704YL)
1 - Orange Felt Square (#10087)
Rafia (#153R)
Regular Glue Gun (#10758)
Glue Sticks (#BS12)
Floral Pins (#35740)
Instructions:
1. Glue styrofoam egg, with smaller part at top, onto styrofoam wreath.
2. Starting at the top, glue the loopy chenille around the styrofoam egg. Tack with glue as
necessary. Continue until the entire egg is covered, except the around the wreath.
3. Measure two (2) 9” pieces of the remaining loopy chenille. Fold in half and loop to make
this the arm, twist open ends to secure. Secure with lorals pin and repeat with other
arm.
4. Cut felt into 2” diamond shape for beak. Fold in half and secure in the middle, with loral
pin. Place even with top of arms.
5. Glue wiggle eyes 1/4” above beak and about 1” apart.
6. Glue feathers in on top of egg (head) - sizes and amount is optional. Feathers can also
be added to the “behind” of the chick!
7. Measure approx. 24” of rafia, wrap around wreath and tie into bow in front, tack with
glue around wreath.
